Recently been having a few problems with my laptop, so much so it stopped working. As it was still under warranty i sent it off, went i recieved it, it didnt even turn on. Sent back off, "will be back with you in 7 days". Just recieved a phone call "sorry sir, you have spilt something on your laptop and therefore the warranty is void" BUT i have not split anything on it all !

What can i do ?!?!

Ask them to prove that. It will be fairly evident.

Has someone else spilled something on it?

I'd check up what the diagnosis was for the initial 'repair' they carried out. If it mentions nothing to do with a spillage I think you have found your culprits..

If so check out the company's complaint proceedure they should have one.

I am the only person that uses it, got it out of the box, didn't work, sent it back. I am extremly annoyed, i have been without it for 3 months now!

Complain loudly, complain strongly. Make a complete and utter nuiscence of yourself. Be polite but forceful in all dealings with the company, make sure you begin documenting every communication with the company (name, department, position, time, subject discussed) make sure they are aware you are logging everything incase the need to go to a regulator or court in order to resolve the matter. Request photographic proof of a liquid spill on the laptop.

I believe consumer law changed a couple of years ago and now the onus of proof relies totally on them. I can't see how they could prove it was you who spilled anything and not one of their people.
