Gallery 2 websites? help needed.

[megy]

Does anyone out there use Gallery 2 for their websites? I am wanting to make a couple of minor alterations to mine, mainly the side navigation, I want to have it in button form, rather than just text.

Is there anyone out there that has any knowledge of using this, and would be able to point me in the direction of changing this for what I am after.

Thanks in advance for any help and assistance you can provide.

Hi there,

I use Gallery 2 on my mountain biking website. Take a look at the photos page from here:

Your main area of interest in your gallery directory is /themes/matrix/templates/
Note that 'matrix' may be different, it depends which theme you have enabled. There are.tp files in the templates folder which you can edit but save your custom versions in a new directory - /themes/matrix/templates/local/. If the local directory exists then Gallery 2 will look in there and use the template files you have created.

I've not edited the side menu on mine but you'll probably find what you need on the templates directory.
