Hi

I have a customer who is asking if Dell flat screens are compatible with his son's PS2. My gut feeling is that they must be, but does anyone know what output connector the PS2 has, or even better, do you have a PS2 running through a Dell screen?

Thanks in advance,

roadie.

PS2 has a scart connection - or the usual A/V (red white and yellow connectors). I don't know if you can use any other type of lead though....possibly.

Screen needs a composite in, you could use component but these are even rarer.

Looking at 'er indoors 1906FP in front of me it doesnt seem to, the newer bigger ones do though from memory.

Thanks guys. Does this screen look OK then (it seems to have a composite in and is widescreen which I presume something like the PS2 is designed for these days)?

That would indeed be just the ticket.

PS2 can output either 16:9 or 4:3 depending on what the content is based on.
