I am just about to move my broadband provider from BT to NTHell (may god help me!) could someone confirm if I will lose my primary and additional email addreses registered as part of that package or will I still be able to log into Yahoo mail to retrieve my messages once I have closed my BT broadband account.

If I lose the email addreses is there a way to redirect the mail sent to those old accounts so that I can intercept and reply to them ? I think Mail2web.com used to be able to do this is this still the case or is there another way?

Your help is much appreciated

Phone them up and ask if they have a grace period or if you can pay a nominal charge to keep your account(s) open for X period of time.
Usually though... not a customer = delete & bounce.

When I left Virgin they wanted to close my email accounts as they were no longer my isp. I simply maintain a Pay As You Surf account with them which I must dial up to at least every 60 days. Set my mobile up as a modem and set a reminder so that I connect every so often for a few seconds.

Just a thought...

Tell BT you want a pay as you go account - you will retain your primary address and I think 4 others - you can access then through webmail or you normal POP email program - I do just set the return address as your nthell one in outlook properties.

cheers tim
