Was planning taking a punt and buying a copy of Vista Home Premium to run alongside my XP install. Vista upgrade advisor suggests I'd have no problems running on my hardware.....although I've read varying views on nvidia based cards under Vista at the moment.

Anyhow, interested in other's experiences of Vista? Is it worth the upgrade or is it a definate wait until SP1 comes along...?

There have been loads of threads on Vista over the last few weeks.

I am running it on a GeForce 6200 card and it is fine. My laptop and Media Center are running it and I personally think it is great. No problems at all.

I've been running it since the Betas and haven't had any problems, other than the fact that it doesn't support power management on my MacBook Pro. Works perfectly on all the 'normal' PCs I've tried it on, though.

It's worth going back a bit through the old threads in here, because there have been a few on this topic.

I ran the beta and now have Vista Business on my laptop from Microsoft Action pack

Yes, it looks nice and all, but I can't find a single thing that I would make me say
"You must upgrade to Vista because..."
