I know its wrong and I am being a cheapskate but how do you fool A time trial programme to continue after the trial period? If you get my meaning

Reset the system clock backwards.

There are some (albeit badly written) where you can just set your system time to back before the expiry time.

Others will set a flag in an ini file once the period has expired, so you'd need to reset that, and then reset the system clock).

Others log the start times of the programs, and if your system clock is rolled back will refuse to work.

Basically it depends how the progrm has been written - the best way to "extend" a trial period is to ring the vendor, offer them a few shilling and actually pay the person who wrote the software!!
