Just got a Mikomi AM-2611 mouse for my laptop and the drivers come on a floppy disk (in this day and age FFS!). As my laptop and none of my other PC's have a floppy drive I have spent the past half hour searching online for the drivers as Windows Vista does not recognise it. Can't find them so thought the PH massive might have any ideas.

Cheers

Jon

P.S. Don't normally buy rubbish from Argos but with my Nectar points I only paid £1.50 for it.

Does it come up in device manager as an unknown device or not at all?

Vista asks for the software for my Multi-Directional Optical Mouse. So it knows it's a mouse but asks for the software, which I don't have. It searches on the web and finds nothing.

In device manager it is under Other Devices > MULTI-DIRECTIONAL OPTICAL MOUSE.

It's asking for the driver to be installed. furious

Which is very odd as Windows should have basic 'it's a mouse' drivers built in. Perhaps when the wizard pops up working through the options that allow you to specify a driver and pointing it at a generic 2 button scroll mouse?

It... might work.

Other than that I think you've got a £1.50 fire lighter personally.
