Anyone know where I could get a 4 post rack mount kit for a Dell 6450? I can get one from Dell but they're rather expensive!

Do you just need the runners? Do they really have to be Dell? I have selection of Compaq ones that could be arsed about with to make fit.

This new box took three people to manhandle so it's best that I get the right kit. Looks like I might as well just buy the Dell kit.

Thanks for the thought though.

The dell ones are rather nice, allows the whole thing to slide out whilst remaining attatched to the rack.

Hey Guys,

Similar request.

Where or what do I buy shelves to put monitors keyboards etc on in Dell PowerEdge Rack 4210 cabinet?

Dell don't list any as parts?

If it's a standard 19" comms rack (as made by Imrak, Black Box, Avaya etc) then you can buy shelves from any half-decent installer. Try http://catalog.blackbox.com/bboxuk/Templates/blackbox/mainscreen.asp and have a squint through the catalogue - they've got shelves for various bits of kit; we use these guys and they're spot on.
