Finding out what wireless card you have??

We have a dell inspiron 8600 laptop which the hard drive went in recently, we now have a new hard drive installed. The laptop has 3 network cards one of which is wireless and and needs to be reinstalled - heres the problem - I have no idea what type of wireless (on board) card it is. I've had a look on dells website but all they seem to have is a list of all the cards ever fitted to the inspiron.

Basically what I want to know is - is there a piece of software I can download that could tell me this or is there a section on the dell website where I can enter my service tag or serial number and get a list of the exact components used to make the laptop??

P.s I know the card was included in the original laptop and is an onboard card if this helps.

The card's an Intel PRO/Wireless 2100B or 2200B/G.

Do a google search for putting a flavour of Linux on it and there'll be plenty of sites telling you what the hardware is inside
