The other half has just got a laptop but hasnt got word or powerpoint..

Can anyone advise where the cheapest place to get it is please?

Can it be downloaded? Do students get discounts?

Many thanks!

(Sorry, cheap shot, I know, but I have nothing else to contribute at this time of night!)

Seconded - I'm using Openoffice, useful package. My laptop came with MS Works, which isn't bad, but I'll tend to always use Openoffice instead.
