calling electrical whizzes

I am crap at soldering etc and I have been searching to no avail.

Would someone volunteer to make me the following?


I need a switch in a box built, that when activated will simply make a single connection between 2 incoming wires.

The wires can be connected to seperate terminals or can be ideally on a 3.5mm stereo jack.

Also if it could be remote controlled that would be great.

Its to replace a 12v trigger for my Home Cinema Amp that seems to have developed a fault.

Can anyone find one or make one for me? Happy to pay. ta

You could use a standard 12V car relay, shouldn't be more than a few quid, and its easy enough to use spade connectors to wire it up.
