Mr fish speaking:

Outlook Express won't let you select a mapped drive as a new message store folder. Looking in knowledge base it just says due to the reliability issues of mapped drives it won't therefore allow it.

SO

Can I get round this or is there any other way of automatically backing up messages to my mapped server or not.

Are you a) specifying the path as //server/share or b)mapping the network drive to a drive letter in explorer and specifying that?
