anti spam on a raq...
Discussion
its just sendmail, so you can stick infront anything you want.
If you want an 'off the shelf' PKG, then I know Michael Stauber of Solarspeed.net sells them.
I am looking into creating my own pkg for my customers, given the recent influx of spam.
We have about 90 raqs.. so the demand is still there.

Yes we have been thinking about solarspeed, any comment? Good/bad?
many thanks
David
by all accounts its good, expensive, given the open source nature, but good.
tho, recently on the mailing lists there was cause for concern where his AV package caused mail to be dropped, good and bad, but he quickly responded to comments.
the cheaper way is to filter then out locally with some mail washing program.
It all depends on the volume of mail incoming, the cobalts arent exactly 'high horespower'
300mhz of pure fun..
If you dont mind the cost, cant see why it shouldnt be good.

Cheers Jamie, the cost is pretty small (£230 I seem to remember) which will include auto updating AV. It will also give the user a control panel to sort their own black and whitelists out. Yes the Raqs are pretty low power but they seem to do what they do very well and it is only for email and a few very small static websites.
