Just got my new toy, and slowly discovering things I did not know.

One thing I have noticed that the keyboard using Safari displays a .COM button which if you hold down for a few seconds lists .co.uk .org etc. Does anyone know if you can change the default to always be .co.uk?

& does anyone have any other tips for this awesome phone?

I am so glad I chose it over the HTC touchscreens smartphones. The HTC's are great phones in their own right with good Windows OS but the screen navigation is just clumsy IMO as well as a pen is required for some navigation. The weather prog only has a few default places so is pretty redundant if you do not live in one of the towns listed.

Big thumbs up from me for the Iphone, I'm amazed by how many free apps there are out there smile

I just figured out how to sync my Touch's Calendar and Contacts from my Gmail/Calendar account. Which is handy.

Unfortunately, it uses Exchange sync, of which you can only have one - so I can't sync my work calendar at the moment. I might change to that though, instead of Google Calendar, as I'm guaranteed wireless at the office and am often away from my desk visiting users.

(And I can't sync my outlook calendar to Google's via their method as we're still on 2002 here - that would solve the problem in one fell swoop. Time to push the Office 2007 agenda biggrin)

Didn't know about the "hold for .co.uk etc" though, thanks thumbup

Field test mode - dial *3001#12345#*

Gives a more accurate measure of reception.

-70ish = good
-80ish = fine
-90ish = ok
-100ish = dodgy

Home key = back to normal !

also didn't know about the .com holdy downy thing, thanks for that smile
Just found pocketpedia on apps, and am in the process of cataloguing (sp) my dvd and cd collection (and the kids games too) Fave app atm is probably the facebook one, as I can upload pics and updates while I'm out.
Finally after a lot of trying, I've got the email to work in sync with outlook2003 so I get email delivered to both pc and phone. Great bit of kit biggrin
