I'm with Freeserve Anytime and in the last few days it's started getting slow - to be precise, stopping and then starting again... it's odd that their TV ads, which last year were puching Anytime, are now pushing Boadband... am I being cynical?

Plus, can anyone recommend a broadband provider that offer the proper 10:1 ratio but isn't £27.99 a month? I've seen offers from Giointernet and Tiscali but these are half speed. Unfortunately there's no cable here (nor even Freeview - I wish the b*stards would stop plugging it)

OK, I've been hunting and found this:

www.metronet.co.uk/adsl/paygo

Anyone have amy views? I don't do massive downloads, mostly e-mail, PH and moderate surfing.

Right, I've signed up for Metronet and got an ADSL modem and filter for £25.
