Im using the above phone on orange network and im find the following issues:

Echo on phone calls
Bad reception
cutting off during phone calls
ringing people and they can hear me but i cant hear them
ringing people and the phone cuts off before dialing them, have been told that they actually hear their phone ring once and then disconnecting
texts do not send half the time
text coming in do not register for up to 30mins

Just got a new one today but was wondering if its just a lemon i got or if others are having issues too

Oh yes.

Issues were so bad it went in the bin.

Everything you put.

Worst bit of kit I ever had. Which after the Blackberry was saying something.

Sodding thing constantly dropped either the mike or the speaker.

Had it repaired three times before losing patience with it and instigating a ski boot/phone interface.

what did you replace it with?

I like the look of the HTC and am stuck on the orange contract atm unless I cancel due to crappy phone which I have 14 days (renewed today due to replacement phone) am thinking 02 and Iphone at the moment as i need a phone to access emails and not wanting a blackberry.

so has one of my friends.

Just that my HTC touch 3G has all the new updates and other stuff on it as standard and I wonder if its not been tested properly and full of bugs.... I blame MS.

I went back to my old Nokia N61.

Just does everything and is robust enough to cope with being in pockets, getting dropped etc.

When working the Touch was a decent bit of kit, just mine didn't work often enough.

The Iphone is too gimmick laden for me and where I am Blackberry phones just don't work as networks do not support some of their functions.
