Any idea of an easy way to export emails from Outlook Express ?

I'm setting up a new system (WinXP) on a new hard disk. I'm having to swap between the two hard disks (i.e. unplug one, replug other) because if I try and install with the existing WinXP on my first disk, I end up with windows on a H: drive, which it wont let me change ! (eventually I'm going to ditch my current C:, when everythings moved over)

But what I'm stuck on is how to move all my many emails, in many folders, over from one disk to the other.

The Export option isn't really useful as that only exports to Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft Exchange (not Outlook Express). I've tried dragging and dropping them into a folder on my desktop, but this is going to take AGES !

Any tips ?

Cheers :-)

Outlook Express stores its files in .dbx format and you should find the folder they are stored in by doing a search for files of this format. (Start>find files>*.dbx)

Create the accounts on the new version of Outlook Express on XP first, then find the folder on XP and copy the contents (all the files not just .dbx ones) of your old folder into the new folder. You should end up with all your e-mail folders and e-mails

make sure when searching, underadvanced options, yo specify to search hidden and system folders.

Its typically stored in your Profile folder, in Documents and Settings.
