I have a copy of dreamweaver that i am attempting to build my page with. Are the templates that are on the disk not the type that you are after..? I thought there weree *some* included?
Further to that, i have a good version of one of those explanation manuals lent to a mate, its much better than the program manual for explaining things in a bit more of a simple manner. I don't know how advanced the stuff is that you are after, but i can post the book title later if you like. Its bloody massive so it must cover most stuff you could ever do with the program.
Most of its over my head anyway!

Stick with it. Once you've understand the basic workings it's a doddle to use and very powerful. I had a bit of a struggle understanding some of their terminology and ways of doing things but it's actually very simple when you get on their wavelength.
If you know someone who uses it, get them to spend 20 mins with you and it will all become obvious.
