Admit it, whose life is so bound up with their mobile phone that they need a wrist band to vibrate if they are ever more than a few meters away. Might be useful to see the thief making of but otherwise....

I'm designing a phone that will alert you when you leave one of these wrist bands behind you.

I think it's a great idea and I actually thought of something like this ages ago when I left my phone in the pub (never got it back). The wrist band actually looks quite stylish in the pic, too.

Flame me if you want!

Id buy it if it was actually a phone, it would have to have someway of talking through it without looking like a tt talking to my wrist.

I'd buy it if were actually a jet pack, that turned into a car, and home cooked me Peperroni Pizza when I got back from the pub.

But it's not any of those things, so it's a stupid thing to say.

I think there's a workaround with a second phone and an armbelt here...

I wouldn't buy it, but if you're one of those dumbasses who loses a phone every week I could see it being quite useful to know when the phone has fallen out of your pocket and left in the train/ taxi. I think the range is too great though, by 5 metres the phone will often be beyond reach.

Why don't they combine it with a USB memory stick and maybe a digital clock, that way it might appeal to gadget lovers.

May 1 million ants find a way into your pant and cause you a terrible irritation.

How am I doing?

What I want is a way of building a long-life battery, a radio receiver and a beeper into a strip of metal 1mmx2mm in cross section without noticeably weakening it or making it more bendy.

I know I'm not the only one who wants this because someone asked me if I could design one once for him to put into production.

I can understand it for a piece of luggage (lap top bag) or a toddler?

Knowing is someone pibnched it you would be hot on their heels might be worth the cash.
