Just went on Facebook, to confirm three more friend requests.
Problem is, when I click on their requests, the following text comes up.....

"You are blocked from adding friends due to continued misuse of this feature.
Your failure to comply with an earlier warning has resulted in this block.

Please note that this block is temporary and can last anything from a few hours to a few days. Facebook cannot lift this block for any reason. Please be patient and refrain from using this feature for a few days.

Continued misuse of Facebook's features may result in your account being permanently disabled.

Which of the following links describes what you were trying to do? Clicking on a link will take you to more information on how to use Facebook's features.

Using Applications
Networking/meeting new people
Connecting with Schoolmates/Friends
Promoting a business, product or service"

It is indicated that I have been misusing the system in some way.
All I have done, is confirm friend requests and invite a few friends as well.
Is anyone familiar with this, and can tell me how long this is going to take, to fix?
My friends are ringing me up, because they are wondering why I have not authorised them.
Thanks guys!

Thank you, what does AICMFP mean?

( I was going to say 'I dont use My Face'- but that would have made me Jeremy Clarkson.)

Its a feature to block bots from adding loads of people as contacts for the purposes of capturing their information.

Basically you have added enough friends over a short period to trigger the bot alert.

Wait for it to clear and proceed as normal, if you still have lots of friends still to add, don't do it quite so quickly.

You have friends who ring you up because you haven't accepted them ?

You're serious ?

They shouldn't be your friends.

You don't need to accept them.

Question to the original poster- Have you checked to make sure you're not a bot yet?

The first sensible answer I have got.
Typical Pistonhead replies otherwise.

So after a month and nine posts you're still here, why?

You received a helpful answer within an hour.

Not having a go, just pointing out that it's called banter - that's why many of us are here. It's fun.

Agreed mate, consider that a slap on the wrists.
