Facebook newbie numpty has a question
Discussion
OK,
Thought I would sign up to this new fangled "Facebook" yesterday to see what all the fuss was about, after resisting for several years..
Signing up was easy enough, but I was shocked that somehow Facebook immediately had a list of all my "contacts" on my normal e-mail account, how did they access this information when even I have to type in an umpteen digit/numerical password to get into it?.
The only information I had given them was my e-mail address.
An extremely annoyed Wacky Racer.......
Mods:- Please feel free to move this to the Computer forum if you must.........

there is an option to set up the contacts by giving them your email address and password, I usually skip that section, looks like ou gave the password out Thought I would sign up to this new fangled "Facebook" yesterday to see what all the fuss was about, after resisting for several years..
