Poll: Which ISP?

I was on a paid-for business broadband scheme but my employer has decided to use the credit crunch as an excuse to save £10 a month. So, who wants to recommend or de-recommend an ISP?
I have listed the ones that I can apparently use, my line quality will evidently only allow up to 8MB, so I'm excluding any of the BT-served high speed ones. Also, unlimited downloads is a must. Because my employer still has a deal allowing me to dial work calls for free on BT, I can't change away from BT, so Virgin cable is also out.
O2 look like they offer a cracking service, but unfortunately you need to be a customer to use it and I'm not able to migrate my mobile to them and Vodafone don't cover my area.
So, if you've had great service from any of the above and are happy, I'd love to hear from you, if you have had a terrible time of it, I'd love to hear about that too. I'm especially keen to hear from any Be users, because that's my current preference.
Thanks!

I just signed up with BeThere and found their customer services excellent. Also you can get £40 cashback from Quidco http://www.quidco.com/bethere-co-uk/ and £24 of Amazon vouchers when you sign up.
I'm on BE Unlimited (£17.50/month or so) and connect at 22mbps of a maximum theoretical speed of 24mbps.
Not had a problem with download limits or throttling in almost 2 years and get download rates of around 2mBps(measured while downloading files rather than using a speed-test site).
Other than the terrible router/modem (BeBox) I got with it, everything's been fine - not even had any unplanned outages, plus the planned outages don't seem to affect my connection.

Virgin don't like installing ADSL in cable-serviced premises, it can be done but if you are in a cabled area they tend to say you have to have that. That's not to say they won't, but why bother when you can have a cable broadband product at the same time as a BT phone line - either have the cable broadband on it's own (called a "Solus" product") or have a second fixed phone line on cable.
50Mb cable broadband (uncapped / unthrottled) is now £38 a month standalone, or £28 as part of a standard bundle.
Not one of your list but I use fast.co.uk with 40Gb downloads for 20 a month. Great fast ISP with zero restrictions on traffic type. For free calls I use Vonage .. 7 quid a month and can call all day.
Helps I dont pay my line rental as its a work one but might be a left field alternative.

Demon offer a good service, though not the cheapest. I happily use them at home with good speed for my area and very rarely need to contact them which is just as well - their 'customer service' is dire.
So a qualified recommendation.
eta: no votes for tiscali - no surprise there then.

with fast you can get through to customer services in less than 4 rings, no call centres, UK staff. Where else can you get that level of service?
And on the package you listed there, that's the higher 800kbps+ upload package, there is a standard 110GB package.
PS if you want a broader spectrum than PH then this review site is quite useful :

I really can't fault Be There, have slowly been moving our work connections over from Demon as we've found their offering has gone radically downhill in the last few months.
The only thing with Be is their support seems to be overseas, having said that, they're fine to deal with by email.

I don't suppose anyone has a promotional code for bethere?
When you apply there's a box for a code so thought maybe I/we could make a saving or get a freebee of some sort?
'24Offer' gets you £24 of Amazon vouchers. Also use Quidco to get £40 cash back. When you apply there's a box for a code so thought maybe I/we could make a saving or get a freebee of some sort?
