Morning all,

I have been approached to have advertising on my website. Text link type add, is a standard rate, but they have asked me how much I charge for a banner type add? I have no idea. We are having approx 4000 new visitors per year, so not a tremendous though put yet. Any ideas how much?

Thank you.bow

What is your website?

What is the market?

Are there a lot of competitor websites in your market? Or relatively few?

There are many things like the above questions you need to look at to price up.

Good luck!! :-)

It is a club website, veteran to modern classic cars. A pictorial view.

most banner ad services pay you as per click / signup unless you get a deal with a company, in which case, how much interest do you think will be generated and what do you consider a fair price for that interest? Also account for if your site has a limited member base, interest will peak with those then drop sharply off.

If you're only getting 4000 visitors per year then this is the best offer you're likely to get.

If this is a real request for info, rather than just a means of trying to generate some traffic spin then with that amount of traffic, any relation to 'normal' rates go out of the window. Just ask for £200 for the year and see what their response is.
