soundmx.exe (huh?!)

Help!

I booted up this morning and Norton found a virus in c:soundmx.exe. It has quarantined the file and the computer seems OK (Haven't used anything with sound yet though). Does anyoe know what it does and how I can fix it again? I'm using Win 98.

Thats just the filename containing the virus. It will tell you the name of the actual virus too. To get more info on the actual virus just go to somewhere like symantec.com and look it up in their virus encyclopedia.
