not within Win98 I don't think. There are other tools out there that will allow you to hunt for deleted files on the disk..... when you delete a file from the disk (when you empty the waste basket), the file is marked as deleted but not overwritten in any way until the disk needs to use that bit.... so you might be able to get the file back with the right tool, but it depends on how much stuff you've written to the disk in the mean time, if you can get hold of the right tool, and your level of proficiency/skill.

Cheers mate, nothing has been written to the hard disc since the files were deleted. I will try to find a shareware utility.
