dell customer number?

how the hell do i find it? i've got my internet receipt number and i've got an email and password.
i've also got a brand new laptop with a scratched screen and want it sorting. dont have a landline where i am so tried to email them. seems i cant without my customer number

ETA: just noticed where i've posted this, if it could be left for a little while that would be great as i only need a quick response [/cheeky]

phone is 5p per min from a bt landline. im poor and only have a PAYG phone so say 20p/min? for how long?

im in the uk btw so i get slightly redirected from the link you posted but it should be the same.

also in the past i've used the online chat for tech support for my desktop back home which was really good.
unfortunately when i enter my service tag it wont let me on that either. something along the lines of "support for that model is not yet available" (inspiron 17, if it matters)
