I do not have aux in on either of my cars so it's good for me. Plust the fact it charges the phone too

Chaps, a bit of feedback on this since i took delivery of it today.

Not much to it really, doesnt seem like £60+ worth of toy BUT having said that it does what it is supposed to do and does it VERY well. I am also impressed that it sends an RDS (if that is what it is) signal to the radio as well as the music so the name of the artist and track name is displayed.

Only slightly irritating thing is that the socket placement on the Z4 is such that the iPhone covers the heater controls and I do occasionally knock it when changing gear.

It is a good piece of kit though, whatever sound processing etc it does makes it crystal clear, comparable to my old Alpine headunit that was designed as an iPod player. It searches for best signal and then you tune to it. Awesome.

Recommended.

Interesting - I had an earlier version of one of these and tbh it was pretty disappointing in terms of the quality but it looks like things have moved on.

Anybody know if it would charge an iP3G ? If so I could be tempted - I like the idea of a dock for the car that will charge it and hold it in position, also handy to make a hands-free call or use a Sat Nav app etc etc.

Indeed it charges, plays and holds in place an iPhone 3Gs.

Works excellently with my new Co-Pilot App.

Are you sure about that - it appears to say that it will charge iPods but not the 3G iPhone ?

If you're following the top link, that model has been discontinued, you need the second one, this one;

I can assure you it charges the iPhone, I've been driving round aimlessly using Co-Pilot on mine tonight.
