How many unread emails in your inbox?

I currently have 3110 unread emails.... and that's not including spam. I usually ignore stuff that blatantly looks unimportant, but really I should delete it I suppose.

And now it's got to the point where there's no way I'm wasting 6 hours of my life deleting them all! ...is there a 'delete all unread' option in gmail?! If there is I can't find it!

In gmail select the unread link and then delete.

As to your question I had 5 in gmail, none in my home account.

Also cant stand emails with blank subject lines so have to deal with them immediately so they dont sit in my inbox.

5 unread and a total inbox of 125 items. Can quickly get this below 110 items and none unread. So I am doing pretty well...

But you're casual about spelling, cool.

That select all unread option in gmail only highlights the unread items on the page, not in the entire inbox. So... I'd have to do it on every page...

at the moment I have 6401 unread emails. I have considered getting rid of them, but there is no easy way of doing in on hotmail (that I have found out about anyway).

None - I get 1 or 2 crap ones per day in hotmail and I delete them straight away.

My personal company email gets again, maybe 1 or 2 uninvited emails a day.....

I don't see what you guys are doing to get so many....?

Zero - because most of my work comes in by e-mail. Mailwasher automatically deletes the regular spammers and identifies almost all the rest, which are then despatched with a single click before they get to the front door.

I have no idea how people cope with web-based mail; it's like trying to run with stones in your shoes.
