Effing thing

Everytime i start the pee cee it wants to check the disc c (ard drive) for consistancy it takes a bloody age ,Whats up with it do i need a to look at it or can i kick the crap out of it ????

Op Sys?

There is a file thats editable in DOS that contains a switch for Scandisk on boot.

Not sure if its command.com or msdos.sys or something else though.

Not much help I grant you but it can be done...

Not sure . its only just started happening , so there has got to be a problem somewhere thats causing it , but how do i find out what it is ??
