A friend of mine had some data stored on two hard drives in a stripe configuration. This data was not backed up (yes, I know, long story ). We now need to recover the data from the stripe set (one disk of which still works).

It is definately a hard disk failure but I was thinking that if it is just a head, arm or interface failure, the data on the platters should be fairly intact.

Can anyone suggest a good data recovery company who might be able to disassemble the drive and recover the data?
