Can any PHers living in Germany help?

Whats the best pay as you go sim card to get when I go to Germany for 10 days? I mainly want it for cheap WAP access, but also for the odd text and call. Do they do sim cards for €1 or whatever where you just buy the top up when you need it?

(unless anyone knows if UK Vodafone contracts have some flatrate mobile access in the EU or anything?)

I was in Europe for a week and was using a friends Vodafone phone to access the net. I cant remember the exact costs but it worked out very cheap. Think its only £5 a Meg

Aldi and Tchibo both do one, as do Vodaphone shops...

The offer is technically limited to German residents; but I doubt they check if you are registered when you give a German address...

Not that cheap - with O2 my roaming charge for data is £2.71/Mb, IIRC

Can you buy these PAYG sims in an Aldi / Vodafone shop over the counter?
I fancy one for a week or so over there to go in my unlocked E160
