Sorry if this is posted in the wrong forum.

Been after some decent video software to edit TVR days out etc digi filming. Very kindly provided with a copy of Videowave and already have a crappy Microsoft moviemaker on the PC, plus a cheap effort that came with the camera. Videowave by far the best but cant link in music to short clips. Not sure if i am doing something wrong but hours of playing around to no avail.

Has anyone got/recommend some good easy to use software to cut/edit video, add special effects, text and music without a degree in computing?

I use a program called Combustion for any 3D effects - it's easy enough to do basic work, and at the other end, it's actually been used on several films & loads of adverts.

This may do better in Computers & Stuff forum...

Easy to use software hmmmmm...

Combustion is very good. But it does cost about £750 and is really for compositing rather than editing.

Premiere is good, but again costs a lots and can be a bit trick to use.

Best bet for ease of use and value is some sort of Ulead software. They are very easy to use and usually quite good.
