Don't use a link, just go to the site by typing the known address directly into the address bar or from your favourites.

That particular link looked OK but it's good general advice. Spammers and Phishers use links crafted to look like the real thing to lure you to different sites, some of which can be very authentic looking. It's good practice to get into the habit of only using your favourites or typing the url yourself.
