A youtube account problem - help anyone?

I have a gmail account (1) I use.
It is associated with a youtube (1) account.
I dont have any youtube videos online, but used the youtube account to favourite the odd movie.
I got a new gmail account (2) because I thought I had to, to create a new gmail account. I was going to associate the new gmail account (2) with the new youtube account (2) but it google/youtube thought I was logged in and using my gmail (1) account.
So I deleted my youtube (1) account.
It is now "permanently deleted"
I now cant be logged into my gmail (1) account and my youtube (2) account, because youtube says the deleted youtube (1) account is still associated with the gmail (1) account. And Im normally logged into my Gmail (1) account.
Problem is
1) I probably have less ability to explain myself than a drunken Somalian refugee. Can anyone tell Im speaking english?
2) I use my gmail (1) account all day every day.
3) I want to use my new youtube (2) account all day too. But dont need the new gmail (2) account I had to create, in order to create my new youtube (2) account.
Whenever I go near youtube, logged into Gmail (1) youtube tells me I need to sign in to vote, or favourite. When I click "login" it tells me my youtube (1) account is permanently disabled.
How do I disable, remove, reinstate or disassociate a youtube account from my gmail account (1) and start over?
