Unpacking > 4gb in fat 32 ?

Is there a way around unpacking rar files which result in a file over 4gb with a hard drive that uses fat32 ? , if there definetly isnt a way , Is it possible to convert a h/d from fat32 to ntfs without losing info ?

FAT32 doesnt allow files over 4Gb (you obviously realised that ). I cant think of a way around it. If you extract a file and its 4Gb then its 4Gb and there aint much you can do.

However.

You can very easily convert FAT32 to NTFS. Theres a standard Windows utility that is called CONVERT to serve this purpose.

Just go to the Command Prompt and execute the command:
C:> CONVERT C: /fs:ntfs

You can do this without losing any data. This is all presuming you're using WinXP of course.
