I'm trying to get my alarm (English Galaxy G2 44) configured to send me an SMS on alerts. However it's not working as it should and I'm wondering if it's because I'm using an English alarm in France.

To this end, could some kind soul telephone their SMS message center number and post up what happens? eg engaged, number not recognised etc

For example the sms center number for Orange UK is: 007973100973

Many Thanks

Well if the number you gave for Orange was correct, I get a continuous engaged tone and a message on the display saying "number not in use" (I'm calling from an Orange mobile obviously)

Probably not the answer you were hoping for.

Thanks guys! Yeah you're right I added an extra zero on (what a silly bunt).

By the sound of it most folk are getting number not in use?
