XP desktop icon help please?

Hi All,

Is there an easy way to have different sets of desktop icons for different users? I've recently upgraded to XP and the PC now has 3 users - me, my wife and my 5 year old daughter. Whenever I install anything, a short cut icon appears on my desktop - and my wife's and my daughter's. If I try to delete the icon from their desktops, I also delete it from my own. The same is (sometimes) true for them although a couple of the games I've installed for my daughter don't seem to have put icons on my desktop or my wife's. Does anyone know how I can choose which icon appears on whose desktop?

Have a look and compare C:\Documents and Settings\Default User\Desktop with C:\Documents and Settings\your_user\Desktop etc??

Likely the icons are being stored in the All Users Desktop folder, move them into the apropriate user desktop folder instead.
