Hi,
Im currently doing an Opel Kadett C project and im trying to choose a colour.
Would someone please be able to change the colour of the car below to MidNight Purple. Or if you have any other colour suggestions.

Not for computer paintshopping, photography forum is for photography and camera stuff etc.

just a quickie to see how you like the colour then I can do a better version. Lighter, darker etc

Big difference between a bit of an air bush on a wrinkle to a full respray on a car.

is this too dark?

now I compare how it to how you want it it looks nothing like lol give me a few more mins and I will get it closersmile

That's impressive photoshoppery. Do you mind if I ask how it was done? I'm trying to learn photoshop myself at the moment so would be interested to know how you did that.

Here you go three different types of minilite, they are not very good but it gives you an idea

Changing the colour is easy. Its Image>Adjustments>Replace Colour... These to links tell you how to better than I ever couldsmile

Yeah, check the girl to the right - her jacket's changing too, as it is a similar colour to the original car.

As is her face, come to that - orange-tan-tastic biggrin

When MrSideways2k9 has diced on the finish he wants I can do a final copy where the people and co are the proper colourssmile

smile Wasn't a criticism, just adding to your explanation of how one can change colour tones relatively easily, ie without faffing about with brushes and whatnot
