Animated Gifs problem

For some reason any Animated Gifs I come across on line no longer animate. Even one like this which is probably moving before you very eyes will not work for me. If I preview a web page on my PC which has an Animated Gif on it, it works no problem. The problem is only what I see on-line and on all sites. Any ideas?

have you looked thro' Internet Options > Advanced menu ?

I had the same last year, I don't remember changing any settings and they just stopped working, similarly a few months later it all went back to normal.

Doesn't help you really but you are not alone.

Yes, the box next to "play animations on webpages" was checked. I unchecked it and rechecked it after a few restarts still the same

You're running a firewall, possibly Zone Alarm, go to the options for www.Pistonheads.com and allow "Ad blocking" don't block them.

Now I am worried, I feel like I have been stalked. You were spot on good sir
I recently re-installed ZoneAlarm and did not notice my Gifs stopped animating at the same time. Anyway, I left the Ad blocking as it was but opted to allow animations to work, now works a treat.
Only problem I have now is I keep looking over my shoulder
