Hello
I posted acouple of weeks ago asking the benefits of macs over pc's, Thank for reponce.
As you can gather I went for a Mac, an imac g4.
What a joy it is! I can't believe I didn't do it earlier so easy to use yet with great results. I've already directed my own movie, I'm up to g for "groove armarda" on itunes (got and ipod too), it's quiet, looks fab, recoginises all my periferals with no "window has found new hardware!!!" crap!!
I could go on but I'm busy using it to achieve world peace

Nice one, Samol - a decent choice

What are, from your point of view, the best and the worst bits on your IT acquisition? Is it worth the money?

There's not enough space here to say what's so good about it!!
The way it feels and looks is just so refreshing, I was worried about learning a new operating system but it's so simple,
I've achieved more in a week on the mac than I had on a PC in over a year. The software loans its self to this, Microsoft are getting closer with XP but still a long way off the mark.

As for the disadvantages, the initial outlay was quite a wrench, and the lac of sharing software with mates.
The biggest problem is what to do with this beige box full of crap sitting under my desk!!!!

Looking forward to getting some track day and hillclimb video fotage in my Ginetta this year to make a short dvd, I could also post a quicktime movie!! I would never of even thought of that before
