after a bit of deliberation i've just picked up a HTC HD2. it was either this, an iphone, a HTC hero, or wait for the nexus. the cracking deal i got via T-mob customer services swung it plus the fact I can upgrade to winmo 7 when it comes out.

i've not had a smartphone before and reckon i'll use only 10% of its capabilities as i mainly use a phone to, well, call people, as well as text and internet.

however, given the processor, screensize etc. i am hoping it'll prove a good alternative to a tomtom. any recommendations for a good turn-by-turn program? i don't mind paying if a reasonable sum to buy one but i'd also need to consider map costs.

TIA.

I've always used TomTom on my Windows Mobile and always worked pretty well.

Copilot.

I run it on my Touch HD and aside from a slightly slow pickup on GPS sometimes, its great.
