I took delivery of my dell mini 10 wednesday, and i have been loving it. I have installed firefox ect all is going fine until this morning.
I booted it up and i noticed that windows severns start icon had changed to a classic start button similar to XP classic. and it will not connect to my wireless.
I have a message
"the dependency service or group failed to start"

help
What have i done?

Doesn't sound healthy. Can you start it in safe mode and go back to a previous system restore point (turn it on and press F8 during the post screen)?

Call support - Dell is pretty good.
Don't leave it till Monday morning when the world and his wife call.

TBF that's 3 working hours away - pretty good I'd say, especially as it's not exactly the most expensive piece of kit.
You may have noticed, I'm a bit of a Dell fan-boy. paperbag

Normally too much pr0n but as you've only just got it - probably just a duff drive.

Don't worry Oli - this is the safe way to use a mac. You're not allowed to own a Dell and be gay. It's the law!
