Hello All,

I want to get an exclusive mobile phone...preferably one that does not break the bank!

I purchased a nokia 8800 about 6 years ago when they came out and I used it for about 18 months but the battery life was rubish...but still it was a very nice exclusive mobile phone.

So what is the current range of exclusive phones from all manufacturers?

I just like to be a little different, and not have the same as everyone else. I don't really need anything other than to make phone calls.

Motorola Aura
Vertu
Mobiado

The Mobiado are silly though - they really are just reboxed Nokias. Their Grand 350 is a Nokia E71 in a slightly better built case.

Vertu are owned by Nokia, and share some firmware elements, but they're generally very well built. And relatively unique.

The Moto has an utterly gorgeous display, and the back looks rather nice.

Probably a bit crap too.

I tried their last one out, and couldn't get it to do anything. I was trying to get it to do email though. If it's just phone calls you're after, then the B&O kit is nicely designed...

The Aura is lovely, I had one for a while.

Not sure if there are any left though.

A couple on ebay.

£800 or £1400.

That screen is gorgeous though. How many round LCDs are there?

Just that one.

The opening action is truly lovely as well.

It's a beautifully made thing.

Well, given that most "exclusive" phones all have a generic interface (i.e. it's mainly the shell/case that's different), why not get a normal phone and change the case (or get a skin)?

keeping up with the car theme I suggest this :
