Anybody else having trouble with Yahoo Chat??

I know I'm on a slow connection, out here on a ship, but Yahoo is my main connection to home and it seems to have got reeeaaal slow this last week.
Yahoo e-mail seems to work okay, but the Chat system takes forever to load, and continuously drops out etc. Is this just my system, or is anybody else having problems?

Does anybody else actually use it, or is it all iPhone Messenger Skypey stuff nowadays??

I tend to use Skype for instant messaging a la Yahoo/MSN as well as voice chat - it's a pretty solid messaging system.

just checked with my teenage son... Skype. Only game in town apparently.

And I bet she's more ugly than her photo on Match.com.

We aren't allowed to use Skype, some company policy about security and other bks.

It is only the wife I chat with, no Y/F/S 17 year old nymph.

Maybe, but I have no idea what it is.

My wife uses Yahoo chat at home, and it has worked well enough up to now for us, but now it is just playing games with me.

Even now, as I browse away my day on PH, Yahoo is in front of me with the: "Loading Chat... Cancel" tag staring malevolently and defiantly at me.
