decided to buy the laptop this week. Basic model - word, excel, for itunes, photos and internet. Nothing fancy

Go onto ebay and do an advance search for user name argos-clearancebargains, here you will find Argos selling all ex-catalogue brand new and returned stock items, all at very good prices with full guarantee. I got a Siemens Fujistsu Laptop very good spec 16" screen with Vista pre-installed, only £295. Loads of others on the list as well. Also has customer reviews so you can check what people think.
