Dell Drivers - Multimedia Audio Controller
Discussion
Got a Dell Lattitude D610 and installed Vista on it this evening.
Vista is a nice surprise OS - i quite like it - however, after installation, i noticed that the little speaker in the task bar is greyed out. Hovering the cursor over it displays "No Audio Output device is installed".
This is strange as the speakers were working with Windows XP.
I visited the Dell website and used the service tag to get the drivers for my machine. Under audio is one file which i have installed, but it makes no difference.
In Device manager a file called Multimedia device controller needs a driver. Any ideas where i can get this?
