Word product key
Discussion
Hello to Computer experts, I got myself a new laptop from Carphone Warehouse last year
It's an Asus X58L and it's performed flawlessly but this morning I needed to use "Word"
and it asked for the above mentioned product key. Now I just can't find the disc anywhere
is there anyway of getting this number at all as I only have 10 more free goes before it
stops working
Thanks in eager anticipation

Asus are Office Ready. This means a 60 day trial version of office is pre installed on your laptop. You will not have received a disc because it doesn't come with one. To activate Word you will need to purchase a Medialess License Kit for the version of office you wish to use. This will give you the key you require. Office Basic MLK is about £130.

That would seem to be poor value when Office 2007 Home & Student gives you three licenses for around £80!Of course, if you happen to work for a company that is part of the MS Software Assurance Employee Purchase Program, you can get the whole thing at a VERY low price!
For example, NHS employees get Office 2007 for £8.95 (download version) ...

I think that must be a standard deal from Msft 'cos we get that here, too. £8.95 for Office 2007 Enterprise. Kerching!Chrisgr31 said:
