Assign PS3 ip

Got two ps3,s in the house, one connected via ethernet cable and the other via wireless, but the problem is when one is online and the other person signs on the ps3 network the other person gets kicked off, and also on cod6 we can not join each others game. Had a look on google and it says something about assigning one ps3 an ip, because the ps3 network thinks we are the same person, have got a linksy's router via a virgin modem. Any ideas how to assign the ip or any other help very much appericated. Thanks
