Work Laptop Under £900
Discussion
Any good recommendations please for a work laptop?
I work between 2 sites and also take it home to surf. I would like a good battery life, large hard drive and widescreen. Preferably not too heavy. Has to be fast at the current laptop takes 15mins to boot and is doing my head in.
Looking to try windows 7 if that makes a difference?
Mainly used for office programs, occasionaly for editing video.
Thanks in advance...

A very large percentage of businesses use nothing but IBM/Lenovo Thinkpads. There are good reasons for this.
Another vote for the Lenovo thinkpad, mine is one of the cheaper ones but has with stood everything that I could throw at it (literally!) its been all over the country, abroad and not let me down once. Its quick enough to do complex spreadsheets and databases etc. The only downside is that its not "that" light although I would rather sacrafice that for the durability.Gassing Station | Computers, Gadgets & Stuff | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
