Can anyone recommend something to do voice and video over the web at all? Netmeeting is fine to a degree, but we want to experiment at work with more than just two users in a session, a threesome if you will...

Free trials are good at this stage, as this is only in a trial stage, so any advice appreciated!

Cheers,

Tony

The big problem with moving from one to one conferencing is the hardware required. You would need an MCU to manage the multi-point connections and possibly something like MS Conferencing server to deliver the front end.

So it is more than likely that you would need a specialist third party to manage the hosting and hardware for you. Our kit here is provided and run by Synetrix (www.synetrix.co.uk) and the EMBC, but then we are in education and they may not cover private sector. The front end uses the "click to meet" stuff (www.fvc.com) however, and it has been pretty good so it may be worth speaking to them.
